A multitude of restless spirits, who met their demise throughout the centuries at Button House, reside within the decaying country estate. Each ghost, a reflection of their respective era, endlessly engage in petty quarrels with one another for eternity. However, the tranquil abandoned house is disrupted by the arrival of Alison and Mike, a young couple who unexpectedly inherit the property and plan to transform it into a thriving family hotel. The ghosts, determined to reclaim their abode, clash with the newcomers while Mike and Alison realize the enormous task they have undertaken. Unbeknownst to them, fate intervenes, trapping both sides in an improbable cohabitation, where every day is a literal battle for life and death.
